ISLAMABAD:
A six-year-old boy drowned in a dam in Sector D-17 on Saturday. Police said that the victim identified as Danyal Shahi drowned in Sundamar Dam in the Tarnol police jurisdiction. Meanwhile, a 30-year-old woman was found dead at her residence in Sector G-7/2, in the Aabpara police jurisdiction. The victim was identified as Azhara Bibi. A police spokesperson said that the woman was apparently stabbed to death. He said that the body was shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
