KARACHI: Top police officials visited the site of Safora attack on Friday in Karachi, Express News reported.
On May 13, gunmen on motorcycles boarded a bus and opened fire on commuters belonging to the Ismaili community killing at least 45 people.

According to police, security forces searched houses in the neighborhood to carry out further investigation. The officials also held a meeting with members of Ismaili community before the search operation was conducted in the area.
A First Information Report was also registered at Sacchal police station today (May 15).
The United States had offered to help Pakistan investigate the deadly attack on the minority community.

Sindh Assembly adopts resolution
Condemning the barbaric attack, Sindh Assembly unanimously passed a resolution in the aftermath of the incident.
The resolution was tabled by Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members of parliament.
The lawmakers expressed their sympathies to the families of the victims and demanded that the government should take action against the culprits.
“The government should take pragmatically act by implementing the National Action Plan in its true spirit,” the lawmakers said.
