KARACHI: A local court remanded on Thursday an alleged target killer, identified as Saeed alias Bharam, in police custody for questioning. The suspect, who is said to be associated with a political party, was handed over to police after the expiry of his three month detention by the Rangers. On Thursday, the police produced him in court to seek his physical custody in case relating to murder of a political activist, Abrar. The investigation officer (IO) said custody of the suspect was required to complete investigation of the murder. Allowing request, the judicial magistrate, South, handed him over to the police for five days for questioning. IO was directed to produce him on the next date and also submit the charge-sheet against him.
