Two years after their divorce, Susanne Khan has finally opened up about why her and ex-husband Hrithik Roshan ended their marriage.
The 37-year-old designer said, “We had reached a stage in our lives where I decided that it’s better we weren’t together. It was important to be aware and not be in a false relationship,” reports Times of India.

Susanne also added that although they don’t hangout together anymore, they are in touch with each other.
“We are close (friends). We do chat a lot even though we don’t hangout together anymore. But above all, we are very committed to our children. We are respectful towards each other. When children are involved, it’s important to put our differences aside and protect them,” Pinkvilla reports Sussanne as saying.

The Jodha Akbar actor and his former wife got married in 2000. Their divorce was announced in 2014.
