Three campaigners of banned outfits held in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Police in Peshawar on Thursday claimed to have arrested three suspected terrorists for allegedly distributing pamphlets of banned militant outfits.

“The suspects were arrested from a hideout in Peshawar’s Dir Colony,” an official statement said. The suspects – Rahimullah, Sibghatullah and Sajjad Hussain – were found distributing pamphlets of militant groups, it added.

Two held for distributing Islamic State pamphlets

Rahimullah, son of Behram Khan and Sibghatullah alias Bandiwan belong to Afghanistan, police officials claimed, adding that Sajjad Hussain, son of Missal Khan, is a resident of Haji Banda Ring Road, Peshawar.

A large number of pamphlets supporting banned organisations were seized from their possession. The suspects were shifted to an unknown location for questioning.
