KARACHI: An Anti-Riots Squad and an Anti-Dacoits Operation team are being raised out of the existing strength of Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) equipped with all necessary gadgets, arms and ammunition, informed Sindh IG Ghulam Hyder Jamali during his visit to SRP headquarters and SRP Base-II on Wednesday. SRP chief DIG Asif Aijaz Shaikh said that a comprehensive training programme has also been chalked out for the police personnel. He further informed that more than 200 SRP personnel are on the highway patrolling duty along with the district police.
