KARACHI: Television personality Waqar Zaka has asserted that he has been falsely implicated in placing the blame on a medical student, who was accused of participating in the Independence Day harassment video case, as reported on by The Express Tribune. Zaka said that he communicated with the female victim via Skype, who provided her version of the incident, after which he began a campaign against her abusers. Zaka initially uploaded a video of the harassment incident on his Facebook page in a bid to find the perpetrators. Later, he uploaded another video in which he requested people to stop blaming the medical student.
