PESHAWAR: An earthquake of 5.5 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in the early hours of Tuesday. The epicentre was in the Hindukush Mountains, some 85 kilometres east of Fayzabad in Afghanistan. The tremors were felt in different areas ranging from Bajaur Agency to Malakand division. Officials said rescue teams were dispatched to the affected areas immediately. No loss of life or property was reported.
